Being a dad is like managing a small circus – except the clowns are your responsibility, and the tent might catch fire at any moment! As a father of two (a 3-year-old toddler and a baby born in 2024), I know firsthand how chaotic and fulfilling fatherhood can be. Let’s rewind a bit. In 2010, I started my career as an aerospace engineer, performing simulations for satellite instruments under intense client pressure. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: team leader, system engineer, project manager – and even earned an evening MBA during some of my busiest work years. Okay, to be fair, I was single and child-free back then, but still! It wasn’t always smooth sailing. Early on, I struggled with prioritization, organization, and keeping up with everything on my plate. By 2005–2010, I began devouring productivity and self-development books, determined to find a system that worked. It wasn’t just me; I realized many people struggled to stay productive, both at a personal and company level. For me, the solution was clear: figure out how to organize my life better. Fast-forward to today, and I’m not just obsessed with tools and technologies (like AI), but also the psychology behind productivity, leadership, and team dynamics. This passion has helped me thrive at work and at home, where balancing my career, passions, and family life is an ongoing challenge. When I became a dad in 2021 (and again in 2024), I realized this was the ultimate test of personal organization. Fatherhood is rewarding, but managing a career, ambitions, passions, and kids all at once? That’s no small feat. The truth is, if you want to maintain your dreams, build a legacy, and still be a great parent and partner, you need to master organization. And let’s be honest – having a full-time nanny might help, but it doesn’t leave much room for truly playing your dad role (and it drains your finances too!). Over the years, I’ve realized that the knowledge I’ve gained isn’t as widespread as I thought. Colleagues, managers, and team leaders constantly listened to me for tips, whether it’s about productivity, or balancing life’s demands. That’s why I created this newsletter– to share everything I’ve learned with the busiest people in the world: fellow dads (and moms too, though let’s face it, they’re probably even busier… but don’t tell them I said that!).
